Prof Stephen Black

MD, FEBVS, FRCS Ed, MbBCH

Stephen has an international reputation for the treatment of venous disorders of both the superficial and deep system and is heavily involved in both education and training in these fields. He designed the UK Vein Clinic varicose vein care pathway and leads the surgical team

Dr Peter Finigan

Peter is an experienced clinical practitioner specialising in vascular medicine. He designed our thread vein care pathway and leads the thread vein team

Mr Ed Sideso

MBBS, BSc, FRCS

Ed is a consultant vascular surgeon in the Thames Valley Vascular Network. He qualified from the University of London in 1999 and undertook surgical training and vascular surgery research in Oxford.

Mr Manj Gohel

MB, ChB, MD, FRCS, FEBVS

Manj is a recognised international expert in venous disease and has been involved in important clinical research and treatment of complex venous conditions for 20 years.

Mr Dominic PJ Howard

BM BCh MA DPhil (oxon) FRCS

PJ is a consultant vascular surgeon in Harley Street, the Thames Valley Vascular Network and senior researcher in the Oxford Vascular Study. He qualified from the University of Oxford in 2003 and undertook surgical training in Oxford.

Mr Sanjay Patel

Sanjay Patel is a Vascular Consultant here at the UK Vein Clinic. He graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in 2001, and trained in Manchester and Nottingham before undertaking a period of research for which he was awarded an MD(Res) by King’s College London

Mr Michael Dialynas

MS, FRCS (Ed & General Surgery)

Michael is a Consultant Vascular surgeon at the UK Vein Clinic. Having graduated from Athens Medical School in 1992, Michael completed his 2 years' military service in Greece as an army doctor‍

Mr Taha Khan

Mr Taha Khan is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust.

Dr Deborah Marsh

MB ChB MRCGP DRCOG DFFP

Debbie has a special interest in venous health, having worked as a member of the clinical leadership team for several years at Dr Newmans Clinic.

Mr Paul Moxey

Mr Paul Moxey is a consultant vascular surgeon specialising in varicose veins at the St George’s and Kingston Hospital in South WestLondon.

Dr John Kyle

BSc (Hons), M. Res, MBChB, MRCS (Ed), MRCGP

John splits his time working between UK Vein Clinic, Dr Newmans Clinic and as a GP partner in Glasgow.

Dr Andrew Ingles

Dr Andrew Ingles graduated from University of Nottingham as a Bachelor of Surgery and went on to become member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr Alina Roser

MBBS, MRCGP, DFSRH, MSc Genomic Medicine, CILT, FHEA

Dr Alina Roser graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry achieving a distinction in Medical Science. Alina went on to become a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners working as a GP in Cambridgeshire whilst working as honorary clinical lecturer at Queen Mary University, London.

Dr Carlota Rosales

MBBS, MRCOG, MRCGP

Dr Carlota Rosales qualified from the University ofNewcastle upon Tyne in 2005. She worked in the North East completing her junior jobs and embarking on specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology before moving to London.

Dr Elaine Guirey

Dr Guirey qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013. She has worked multiple hospital specialties since qualifying and in General Practice in Sheffield for the past 6 years, she is well established at Oakhill Medical Practice.

At UKVC, Vanessa supports patients during their procedure and leads the nursing and aftercare team

Lily Benton graduated from Kings College London in 2015, and has a background working in Intensive Care Nursing

Diana Roque

Vascular Clinical Research Nurse

Having graduated in Portugal in 2013, Diana has been working in the UK for 8 years. Her extensive experience with patients spans across hospital wards, and surgical theatres (Vascular Surgery). She is now currently working in respiratory research

Layla is an accomplished clinician and researcher with a passion for improving patient outcomes in the field of chronic wound management.

Cory Moyna

Vascular Nurse Specialist

Cory is a highly experienced Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a career spanning acrossIreland, Australia, and the UK.

Sonography Team

Fabrizio D’Abate

Fabrizio leads our sonography team. After completing MScs in Vascular Ultrasound and Clinical Experimentation of Drugs in Florence, Fabrizio joined the Vascular Research Institute in Exeter. He is currently Senior Vascular Sonographer at St George’s Hospital in London

Nicholas Zakikhani

Nicholas has completed MScs in Cardiovascular Science, Vascular Science and Healthcare Leadership and is currently a deputy manager and Senior Clinical Vascular Scientist at St George’s hospital in London.

Caroline Dainty

Caroline, holding an MSc in Clinical Sciences from Nottingham University Hospital, has worked in vascular ultrasound at Kings College and St George’s Hospital since graduating.
