Megan qualified as a nurse in 2015, starting her career in critical care at Glasgow Royal Infirmary across the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU). She later moved into community nursing, where she developed a strong interest in vascular care, carrying out wound assessments and Doppler studies for housebound patients.
She completed a Postgraduate Diploma at Master’s level in District Nursing and progressed to the role of District Nursing Sister, managing patient care and pathways, particularly for those with vascular conditions. Alongside this, she also held a teaching role at a Glasgow college while continuing her clinical work.
At UK Vein Clinic, Megan supports patients throughout their treatment, providing reassurance and clear aftercare guidance. She enjoys building rapport with patients and works closely with vascular consultants in the Glasgow clinic to deliver high-quality care.
