Dr Benedict Smith is a General Practitioner with specialist interests in minor surgery, joint injections, musculoskeletal medicine, and vascular health. He also has an interest in integrated care, clinical leadership, and innovative healthcare delivery.
Dr Smith qualified from the University of Oxford and initially trained in Emergency Medicine before moving into General Practice. He is a GP Partner in London, a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and a GP Trainer.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Smith is Chair of the Board of Islington GP Federation, helping shape services in line with the NHS 10 Year Plan. He has also held roles with NHS England focusing on leadership and quality improvement.
