Starting with a Duplex Ultrasound scan (if required), our team will assess the varicose veins in your legs at our treatment clinic in Birmingham. Once we have a better understanding of the severity of your varicose veins, we will recommend a treatment plan personalised for your needs.
Your varicose vein treatment may include either Radiofrequency Ablation or Foam Sclerotherapy. You’ll also receive thorough aftercare instructions and access to our team for support once you leave.
As one of the leading thread vein removal clinics in Birmingham, we use state of the art technology to remove thread (or ‘spider’) veins from the face, chest and legs. You will receive a thorough initial assessment before our consultant recommends the right course of thread vein treatment, whether that be Veinwave or Sclerotherapy treatment, both of which are minimally-invasive and will have you continuing normal activities by the end of your treatment session.
At UK Vein Clinic we've partnered with Chrysalis Finance to offer patients the flexibility when it comes to paying for their treatment. Eligible patients can spread the cost of treatment over 6 or 10 months at 0% interest (subject to credit checks and approval). If you're interested in starting your treatment journey using our finance options, get in touch today on 0208 187 3999.
Duplex Ultrasound Assessment
Non-invasive, painless ultrasound assessment to map your veins and formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Used on larger veins, electric currents heat up a small area of a damaged vein, causing it to collapse and block itself off entirely.
Foam Sclerotherapy
A harmless foam solution is injected into the varicose vein, blocking off blood flow to the vein and collapsing it.
Microsclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is used to remove spider veins by collapsing the walls of the damaged vein, which causes the blood flow to be blocked.
Veinwave Treatment
Veinwave encourages the body to naturally reabsorb spider veins by applying microwave energy into the damaged vein.
Vein Treatment Aftercare
Our aftercare clinics help you to recover faster and help to ensure positive clinical outcomes for all of our patients.
We provide varicose vein treatments and thread vein treatments throughout the whole of Birmingham including Handsworth Wood, Erdington, Old Oscott, Wylde Green, Tyseley, King’s Heath, and Digbeth. We also offer our services across the West Midlands and throughout the UK at our other clinics.
