During your diagnostic assessment at our Leicester clinic, we’ll perform a Duplex ultrasound scan to assess and map the veins in your legs. This allows our team to fully understand the extent and severity of your varicose veins.
Once your results are reviewed, one of our vascular GPs will create a tailored treatment plan. Depending on your needs, we may recommend radiofrequency ablation, foam sclerotherapy, or a combination of both for optimal results.

Radiofrequency Ablation
Used on larger veins, electric currents heat up a small area of a damaged vein, causing it to collapse and block itself off entirely.
Foam Sclerotherapy
A harmless foam solution is injected into the varicose vein, blocking off blood flow to the vein and collapsing it.
Microsclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is used to remove spider veins by collapsing the walls of the damaged vein, which causes the blood flow to be blocked.
Veinwave Treatment
Veinwave encourages the body to naturally reabsorb spider veins by applying microwave energy into the damaged vein.
