Vascular Nurse Specialist

Heather is an experienced Vascular Nurse Specialist with over six years of clinical practice in community nursing, where she has developed extensive expertise in the assessment and management of complex vascular conditions. She has supported a wide range of patients with chronic venous disease, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Heather has a particular interest in tissue viability and acts as a link nurse in this field, promoting best practice in wound care, prevention, and management. She has significant experience in treating patients with leg ulcers and other complex wounds, using evidence-based approaches to optimise healing and improve patient outcomes.

Having recently relocated to a rural area, she understands the challenges associated with accessing specialist services and is committed to delivering accessible, compassionate care. Heather is passionate about improving both the vascular health and quality of life of her patients.
